The American Classic Motorcycle Museum displays one of the largest private collections of classic Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the nation, featuring bikes from 1936 to the early 70's in both original and restored conditions. In addition to vintage motorcycles, the museum displays classic Harley-Davidson advertising and memorabilia, as well as a replica of a 1949 dealership displaying over 2000 original parts. On site is a full-service bike shop and a fun, nostalgic diner offering traditional diner fare, such as the "tune-up" breakfast special and "fly wheel" waffles. The museum is conveniently located two miles west of downtown, just minutes from the Asheboro Municipal Golf Course.
