The North Carolina Aviation Museum displays a remarkable collection of vintage military aircraft dating from World War II to Vietnam, along with other interesting military memorabilia, including authentic military uniforms and medals. Located adjacent to the Asheboro Municipal Airport, the facility also contains the South’s largest collection of model airplanes.
